This product definitely makes a difference in your photo, but the expensive is IMO more than the value of the product compared to comparable products on the market right now. The only advantage it seems to have is that it has a decent one-click edit, but you still have to perform some manual Tweaks. I currently have almost every major software you can think of, including being one of the Beta desktop users and it just does not compare to many standalone versions. The desktop version will worth near the price, but not the plugin.
With Photoshop (currently using CC2014, though 2015 has just released) you can use ACR and achieve better results. PC 2.0 at least speeds up the workflow a bit.
